Tired of the never-ending, constantly changing "professional" advice on health and fitness? So am I! These are some of the reasons why Donzelani's Way to Fitness & Health was created.
My approach is not only proven, but validated across the lines; from athletes and military to everyday citizens, asthmatics and diabetics to rehab and mid-physical therapy, and not to forget from youth to elderly. Donzelani's Way to Fitness & Health is not successful, unless you are successful in meeting and exceeding your goal(s). We have a high standard for our trainers and coaches, and we approach each session with the motivation, intensity and professional training sessions leading to results.
Personal Training:
Assessments: Body Composition (including BMI, Skinfold/Girth Measurments, etc), Visual Assessment (Photographs will be taken of client in a bathing suit, 2-piece for females. Frequency of photos is based on CFT guidance), (Aerobic/Anaerobic Assessments (including cardiovascular efficiency, strength, flexibility, etc).
Comprehensive-Periodized Program Design w/Tracking: The fitness plan designed by our CFT will consist of multiple areas such as aerobic fitness as well as anaerobic fitness, body weight and free weight exercises, timeing and resting times, training days and resting days, and more. The CFT understand the importance of necessary planning in order to achieve success. Our CFT will monitor the clients progress and ensure accurate tracking of all data. Our CFT will modify any training necessary to ensure the best training is put forward each session. If you have any questions to further understand you plan, please feel free to ask our CFT to explain and even educate you on 'the why' and 'the what'.

Strength & Conditioning
Taking your performance to the next level, busting through a plateau, getting in line with nutrition or even getting your team in optimum performance for the season? No matter what the particulars we can design and implement a comprehensive-periodized program to enable you and/or your team meet your goal(s).
Athletes are abused more than we would like to acknowledge, by hand me down program designs, internet saavy coaches whom were told 'one routine fits all', and 'no pain, no gain' slogans. Trust me when I say, nobody wants to see an athlete succeed beyond what he or she could have imagined; more than we do! Our SSC takes each athlete and turns him and/or her into their personal client(s). Our SSC assess often, modifys as needed, designs and implements comprehensive-periodized programs. Our SSC don't just target one aspect of performance, but every aspect of performance (including movement required, muscles required for each movement, prime movers, secondary movers, nutrition/supplements, and more). When an athlete is finished with a session, he/she knows everything was layed on the training ground. Our SSC go above and beyond to earn the athletes respect and trust. It's not just good enough to get the athlete to their goal(s), but the SSC ensures the athlete is better mentally and emotionally than when he/she arrived.
Our SSC adhere to every 'Granddaddy Law' and there is the added benefit of the 'Donzelani's Way', which ignites every workout. We believe a workout should scream 'purpose'. As you have trusted your development in the hands of our SSC, we will not waste your time with execises that are a waste of your time.

Comprehensive-Periodized Program Design w/Tracking: The strength & condioning plan designed by our SSC will consist of multiple areas such as aerobic, anaerobic, flexibility, nutrition/supplementation guidance; body weight and free weight exercises, timeing and resting times, training days and resting days, and more. The SSC understands the importance of necessary planning in order to achieve success, such as resting time between reps/set and training frequency. Our SSC will monitor the athletes progress and ensure accurate tracking of all data. Our SSC will modify any training necessary to ensure the best training is put forward each session. Populations: Youth (8+) and Adult (12+) Athletes.
*Although age 12 is listed under adult, there is a vast difference in how a youth is trained compared to an adult.*

Exercise Therapy
COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM DESIGNS
THERAPEUTIC EXERCISE which encompasses prevention of further dysfunction; improvement, restoration and maintenance, muscular strength and endurance, cardiovascular and cardiorespiratory fitness; mobility, flexibility and range of motion, balance and stability; coordination, functional skills/fitness and activities of daily living.
THE TEAM APPROACH:Our SET works in concert with your trained health professional (e.g. Physical Therapist). In the case of rehabilitation, for example, with the team approach you can receive initial instruction/treatment with your therapist and progress to our SET. Once or if a plateau is reached, you can be referred back to the therapist for more advanced treatments.
WHAT CAN A CLIENT GAIN? Improvements of Proper Body Mechanics, Accommodation of Learning Styles (via: visusal, auditory and/or kinesthetic); Improve Sleep, Eliminate Depression, Reduce Obesity and Glucose Intolerance; Reduce Risk Factors Responsible for Cardiovascular Disease, Improve Function, Flexibility, Muscular Strength and Endurance; Decrease Health Problems Associated with Disuse Syndrome; Bottom line: Obtain and Maintain OPTIMAL HEALTH.
FACT: Muscular Strength can Decrease by 17% within 72 hours of Immobilization, and can Lose up to 40% after 6 weeks of casting.
FACT: Max VO2 (Respiratory Capacity) can Decrease by 25% after 3 weeks of bed rest.
SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT: There are many misconceptions regarding DISABILITY vs HANDICAPPED. Allow us to clear the air. A person can be handicapped in one situation but not in others (e.g. a client wanting to access the 2nd floor in a wheel chair is handicapped if the only access is via stairs; but not handicapped if a elevator is near). A person can also be handicapped with a disability. These words are not the same and as a culture we have made the mistake of using them interchangeably.
DISABILITY is the presence of a medical condition, either congenital (present at birth regardless of cause: e.g. spina bifida) or acquired (after birth, not inherited: e.g. accident resulting in spinal cord/vertebral injury, such as paralysis).
HANDICAP is anything that prevents the attainment of one's goals (Sherrill, 5th ed. 1998).
It is said, 'My people parish from lack of knowledge.' Our SET is required to saturate in as much knowledge as possible, and then seek additional avenues; all so Donzelani's Way to Fitness & Health can meet the needs of our clients and provide the highest quality professional training possible.

Child 2 Child Program
This program is designed to allow our coaches and trainers in training to provide meaningful and fun training and classes to young clients. In our Child 2 Child program your child can engage in physical learning (athletics, physical training/working out, baton, military fitness, etc), crafts (hair bow making, bracelet/necklace making, etc.), active learning (dinosaurs, aquatic life, wildlife, etc), and more. These classes are not as abundant as the rest of our classes, since it is a new program and our primary instructors are also young students.
